Who. MARKETIVE HUB SRL (CUI 55660020, Drum Ghindari nr. 73A, Bl. Jovial 3, Et. P, Ap. SC4, Sector 5, București) makes Slate. Questions about your data: mark@marketivehub.com.
What Slate uses from your Google account:
- your name and email, to show which account is connected
- read-only access to the Google Drive folders you choose, to list and look at the photos and videos in them
- access to the one Google Sheet you choose, to write the catalogue into it
Slate never changes, moves or deletes your Drive files, and it doesn't look at anything outside the folders you choose.
Who else handles it:
- Google Drive and Sheets hold your files and the catalogue.
- Google's Gemini looks at each photo or video to describe it.
- Supabase keeps a backup of the catalogue database.
What Slate sends by itself. To check for updates, Slate asks GitHub (where its releases are published) for the newest version each time it starts. That request carries no personal data, but GitHub sees your internet address. Problem reports and support emails are only sent if you send them yourself.
Where it's kept. Slate's database is on your Mac, with a backup at Supabase in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). The catalogue is the Sheet in your own Google Drive.
How long. Until you delete it. Deleting a job and its Sheet, and disconnecting Slate in your Google account, removes it.
People in photos. Photos and videos can show people. Whoever owns the library decides what is catalogued; Slate only processes it for them.
Your rights. You can see, correct or delete your data at any time. Write to mark@marketivehub.com; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
Google API Services. Slate's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies. None.
Changes. When something important changes, Slate tells you, and the date above changes.
